How we handle your early-access details. Written in plain English — because nobody should need a law degree to understand what happens to their data.
1. Who we are
Forsupliance is an early-stage product being built in Scotland. We're building calm, explainable inventory management for UK small businesses. If you have questions about this policy, email us at hello@forsupliance.co.uk.
2. What we collect
We only collect what you submit through the early-access form: your name, business name, email address, and the inventory pain point you select or describe. If you use the optional feedback widget in the demo, we also collect your star rating, any comment you write, and your email address if you choose to leave one. We also keep basic technical logs necessary to run the site, such as error reports and server logs.
3. Why we collect it
We use your details to contact you about early access and to understand which inventory problems matter most while we build the product. Our lawful basis for processing is consent — you asked us to contact you — and our legitimate interest in developing a product that actually helps UK SMEs.
4. What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties beyond the infrastructure that hosts the site and database. We do not use your submitted data to train shared AI models.
5. Where it lives
Your data is securely stored with our hosting and database provider. The demo environment you can try on the site uses only fictional sample data — no real business data.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your early-access details until the early-access programme concludes or you ask us to remove them.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your data at any time by emailing hello@forsupliance.co.uk. We'll action it promptly. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
